How to make a duct tape pocket.
Single pocket duct tape wallet.
I made this for my teen summer reading program at my library.
X research source the strips you use to tape the pocket in place should only be 0 25 inches 0 64 cm or so wide and just long enough to cover the complete edge on each side except the top.
Using 1 2 strips of duct tape stick the pocket in.
I tried watching other videos but i got frustrated.
This will make the id pocket of the wallet see figures 10 12.
Layer them sticky side up with 1 2 inch of overlap between each piece.
This wallet is completely my own design.
Cut out pieces of duct tape just wide enough and long enough to tape the sides and bottom of the pocket to the wallet.
Fold them over the sides of the wallet and trim the excess.
It s convenient harder to lose especially when you leave it in your pocket and it gives you a story to tell.
First tear off 4 strips of duct tape that are 9 inches long.
Long story short of as to how i came to making and then using these i was supposed to gift the original wallet to a good friend of mine.

Fold and adhere a 1 strip onto the 5 edge.
A cutting board or thick cardboard to cut on.
Repeat with the other two pieces.
Flip one piece of duct tape over and place another on top sticky sides together so they match up.
You will need duck tape any colors i m using three different colors to show the parts easier.
Build the main body of the wallet.
Trim the pocket to 4 long.

To make the duct tape pocket lay two strips side by side sticky side up base your length on the finished size of the pocket the length needs to include the front the back and the flap lay short strips in a contrasting color all the way up covering the long strips completely and very slightly overlapping the contrasting color.
So i know there are already a bunch of these but here is my easy duct tape wallet.

Cut these pieces about 4 inches long.

We also use the clear tape to seal the seams of the card pockets to keep the duct tape adhesive from getting on your cards.
To make a smaller pocket for cards cut two strips of tape each 5 long and stick the two pieces adhesive sides together.
Measure out four 4 inch pieces of tape.
